DIY 未完成木製上帝保佑美國標誌

I was pleasantly surprised by how smoothly the unfinished wood takes paint, even cheap craft paint glides right on. It's the perfect size for a front porch display, sturdy enough to hold up to some wind too.

The laser-cut edges are clean, so I didn't have to sand anything before painting. I used acrylics on the unfinished wood and the grain took the color really evenly. It's hanging on the porch for the 4th.

Painting this with my kids was the best part of our Memorial Day weekend, and the routed edges kept the paint from bleeding onto the front. The unfinished wood soaks up acrylic really evenly, so even our messy layers look clean. Already planning to grab another for the front porch.
