The beads are strung firmly on the strand, so they didn't tangle or shed during our parade. I used these for a king cake necklace toss, and the 60-inch length made them easy to swing. They're a solid buy for any Mardi Gras party.

The glossy finish really pops under party lights, and the 16 mm beads feel sturdy without being too heavy to wear all evening. I draped a few strands over a mantel and they caught the metallic sheen just as nicely as they did on the street.
