Plastic Toy 8 Shot Cap Gun

My kid’s been reenacting old Westerns all week and these 7-inch pistols fit his hands just right. The safety tips are a relief for me, and the caps fire with a satisfying crack that doesn’t feel cheap. We’ve already gone through two boxes of caps—worth it.

The caps fit snugly and pop loud enough to startle the dog, though the red safety tip is a bit brighter than I expected. We've been through two rolls already without any jams.

My son loves the 45 magnum style—it feels substantial in his hand even though it's plastic, and the seven-inch length is perfect for his cowboy games. He’s been running around the yard pressing the cap roll, and the pop is loud enough to make him giggle every time.
