The steady-on mode is perfect for my son who doesn't like blinking lights, but he still gets the fun basketball design. Battery lasted through a whole day of school Valentine's party without dying.

My nephew loves all the different flashing modes — the slow blink is his favorite to show off at practice. The lanyard feels sturdy enough for a kid to wear every day.

Got these for my son’s Valentine’s gift bag and the slow flashing mode is surprisingly calming for a toy, though he loves the quick blink the most. They’re sturdy enough for daily school use and the colors really pop in the hallway.
