The light on this thing is genuinely blinding in a dark room, which is exactly what you want. My kid has been carrying it nonstop since it arrived and the shark sound effects crack me up every time.

The button is satisfyingly clicky and the shark sound effects are much louder than I expected, which made my son's costume party even more fun. He’s been carrying it around the house for days without the light dimming.

The fiber optic glow on this sword looks awesome in the dark, and my kid loves pressing the button just to hear the roar sound. It's held up well after a few nights of pirate battles, so the build feels decent for the price.
