The blue/white color combo looks even better in person, and the crystal blade really catches the light when you swing it. My kid insisted on taking it to the backyard "treasure hunt" immediately, and it held up fine through all the fake sword fights.

My son waved this around for hours at his birthday party and the light-up feature was a huge hit with all the kids. The crystal-look hilt feels surprisingly sturdy for a toy sword.

Pulled this out for my kid's pirate party and the blue/white glow really pops in a dark room — the crystal handle feels sturdier than the cheap costume swords we've had before. Battery life held up through the whole party.
